The Manchester Water Works (MWW), provides water for about 133,000 residents living in the Manchester area. Established in 1871, the Manchester Water Works collects water from a surface water source, the Lake Massabesic, drawn and stored in the Tower Hill Pond and purified at Manchester’s Water Treatment Plant.

Under the authority of the Safe Drinking Water Act, the EPA requires City of Manchester Water Works to assess local water quality each year and distribute a Consumer Confidence Water Quality Report.
The information in this report includes the source of your water, whether your water meets EPA standards, detailed tables of detected contaminants, detailed descriptions of those contaminants, possible reasons why they're present, and potential health effects (if any).
