The City of Moxee Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water to about 5,568 residents living in Moxee, Washington. Founded in 1867, the City of Moxee Water System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily four wells that drill into the aquifer underneath the county area. Well #1 has a depth of 1,326 feet and is located at 306 South Iler Street, a flowing artesian well; Well #2, 978 feet deep, and Well #3, a 783-foot deep well, are both located west of Faucher Road; Well #4, a 1,104-foot deep well, is also located west of Faucher Road but draws water from Ellensburg Formation, Additionally, all wells drill into the Saddle Mountain Aquifer underneath the area.
