The City of Longview Water, under the City Department of Utilities, provides water for about 48,979 residents living in the area of Longview, Washington. Established in 1924, the City of Longview Water Department is currently obtaining its supply from a ground water source, four production wells that pump water from a gravel aquifer beneath Cowlitz that is recharged from the Columbia River.
