The Chelan County Public Utility District No.1, a public community water system under the District Residential Services – Water Service, provides water for about 14,189 residents living in the area of Wenatchee, the largest city of Chelan County, Washington. Established in 1936, the Chelan County Public Utility District No.1 System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, including four wells over 200 feet deep in the Eastbank Aquifer.
