Bellevue has multiple water providers: Bellevue Water and Coal Creek Utility. This page provides information about Coal Creek Utility.

The Coal Creek Utility District, a public community water system, provides water for about 14,014 residents living in the area of Newcastle, an Eastside city in King County, Washington. Established in 1959, the Coal Creek Utility District Water System is currently obtaining its supply via purchase from the Seattle Public Utilities (SPU), which sources its water primarily from the publicly-owned Cedar River pumped to the Lake Young’s Facility, and on rare occasions the Tolt River watersheds.
