The City of Fircrest Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water to about 8,095 residents living in Fircrest, Pierce County, Washington. Founded in 1925, the City of Fircrest Water System currently obtains its supply from five city-owned wells, groundwater sources that drill into the aquifer underneath the area. Fircrest Water System also includes 38 miles of water main, three water storage tanks with a combined storage capacity of about 1.8 million gallons, three pressure-reducing zones, and one booster pump station.
