The City Of Grandview Water supplies water to about 11,010 residents in the Grandview area of Yakima County, Washington. The City Of Grandview Water Department primarily obtains water from the Columbia River Basalt Group, a geologic formation with four hydrologic units - Grande Ronde, Wanapum, Saddle Mountain, and Overburden. The Water Department's deep wells draw from the Saddle Mountain unit and the shallowest wells from the Overburden unit. The water from the wells is disinfected with chlorine and aerated to remove odors.
