The Lubeck Public Service District (PSD) provides water service to about 10,377 residents living in the Washington area of Wood County. Lubeck PSD was established in 1958, began supplying water in 1960 to about 300 customers, and has extended its services in the Washington area and the surroundings. The Water Department obtains water from seven groundwater wells and treats it before supplying the residents.
