City of Pacific Water, a public community water system under the Department of Public Works, provides water to about 6,673 residents living in the Pacific in King and Pierce counties, Washington. Founded in 1909, the City of Pacific Water System currently obtains water from groundwater sources, primarily wells that drill into the Aquifer underneath the area. Located in the north area of Ellingson Road and the east area of Pacific Avenue in Algona City, Three operational wells, a 750,000-gallon reservoir, a booster pump station with a 3,500 GPM capacity, and roughly thirty miles of distribution pipe make up the water system infrastructure.
