The Palmer Water System supplies water to about 8,111 residents living in the Palmer area of Matanuska-Sasitna Borough County, Alaska. The Palmer Water System collects water from three different groundwater wells and disinfects it with sodium hypochlorite to produce potable water free from harmful micro-organisms.
