The Plymouth Village Water & Sewer District supplies water to about 6,700 residents living in the Plymouth area of Grafton County, NH. The Water District utilizes groundwater from two gravel-packed wells at the end of Foster Street. The water is pumped from an underground aquifer and is stored in two storage tanks located off Reservoir Road. It is chemically treated with caustic soda for pH adjustment, Calcium Hypochlorite for disinfection, and Ortho/Polyphosphate for iron & manganese sequestration before it is distributed to the customers.
