The Star Sewer & Water District, a quasi-municipal corporation, provides water services to about 14,000 residents living in the Star area in Ada County, Idaho. Founded in 1966, Star Sewer & Water District collects water from four wells drawing from aquifers at approximately 300 to 700 feet deep and from reservoirs. Water sources include rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, reservoirs, springs, and wells.
