The City of Roseville Water, under the City Department of Public Services – Water and Sewerage Division, provides water for about 47,299 residents living in the area of Roseville, Michigan. Established in 1926, the City of Roseville Water and Sewerage Division is currently obtaining its supply via purchase from the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA), which uses surface water drawn from the Detroit River, situated within Lake St. Clair, Clinton River, Detroit River, Rouge River, Ecorse River, in the U.S. and parts of the Thames River, Little River, Turkey Creek and Sydenham watersheds in Canada. Water from Lake Huron can also be added to GLWA’s supply, whenever the demand arises.
