The Adelanto City Water provides water for about 31,765 residents living in the Adelanto area, California. Established in 1915, the Adelanto City Water collects supply from a groundwater source, underground storage areas (called “aquifers”) located within the City and along the Mojave River. These aquifers are recharged by rainfall, snowmelt, and (artificially) by the State Water Project. Adelanto also has an emergency source connection with the City of Victorville for backup or emergency needs.

Copper & Lead Report (2017)

A

WaterZen Rating

Lead and copper levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.

What about Adelanto Water? How much lead and copper are in your drinking water? And how do those levels compare to other cities in the state? We examined data from hundreds of cities across the nation to understand and grade your water quality.

As you can see, Adelanto Water received the best-possible grade because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were better than the Public Health Goal and most other water providers we've analyzed.
