Established in 1927, the California Water Service - Livermore is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of local groundwater pumped from 12 wells in the Livermore-Amador Valley Aquifer and surface water purchased from Alameda County’s Zone 7 Water Agency, which is water from the Sierra Nevada Mountains through the Delta and the Del Valley Reservoir.
