The City of Chino Hills Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water for about 75,655 residents living in the area of Chino Hills, California. Established in 1991, the City of Chino Hills Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of sources: purchased surface water supplied by the Metropolitan Water District (MWD) via the Water Facilities Authority (WFA) and the Monte Vista Water District (MVWD); and groundwater that is pumped through City-owned wells, MVWD wells, and Chino Basin Desalter Authority (CDA) wells.
