The Golden State Water by GSWC (Golden State Water Company) - Bay Point is a regulated utility in California and is a wholly owned subsidiary of American States Water Company. GSWC provides water for about 275,538 residents living in over 80 communities across California. Established in 1928, the Golden State Water collects water from a blend of groundwater pumped from the West Coast and Central Groundwater Basins and imported water from the Colorado River Aqueduct and the State Water Project (imported and distributed by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California).
