The Laguna Beach County Water District, a public community water system in southern Orange County and portions of Laguna Beach and Crystal Cove Park, provides water for about 19,240 residents living in the area of Laguna Beach City, California. Established in 1925, the Laguna Beach County Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a combination of sources: local groundwater from wells that pump from the Santa Ana River Basin and surface water (Colorado River) purchased from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
