The Grover Beach Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works - Utility Operations Division, provides water for about 13,593 residents living in the area of Grover Beach, a city in San Luis Obispo County, California. Established in 1959, the Grover Beach Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of sources: surface water from Lopez Lake, and groundwater from four wells. Three of the wells draw water from the shallow Paso Robles formation and one well draws water from the deeper Careaga formation.

Lead Report (2020)

A

WaterZen Rating

Lead levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.

What about Grover Beach Water? How much lead is in your drinking water? And how do those levels compare to other cities in the state? We examined data from hundreds of cities across the nation to understand and grade your water quality.

As you can see, Grover Beach Water received the best-possible grade because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were better than the Public Health Goal and most other water providers we've analyzed.
