La Puente has multiple water providers: La Puente Water and City Of Industry Water Department. This page provides information about La Puente Water.

The La Puente Valley County Water District supplies water to about 8,108 residents living in the La Puente area within Los Angeles County, California. Founded in 1924, La Puente Valley County Water District maintains three active wells that produce water from the Main San Gabriel Groundwater Basin in its wellfield on Puente Avenue in the City of Baldwin Park. The District purchases additional water from the Industry Public Utilities, which in turn obtain water from San Gabriel Valley Water Company. The water is treated following a series of processes to provide safe and potable water.
