Nuevo Water Company, a non-profit private corporation, provides water to about 7,033 residents living in Nuevo, in the eastern part of Lake Perris, and the city of Perris in Riverside County, California. Founded in 1913, Nuevo Water Company System currently obtains its supply from two sources: 50% groundwater source, the Piester well of Nuevo Water Company that drills underneath the Lakeview sub-basin, and purchased surface water supply from the Eastern Municipal Water District.
