The City of Vallejo Water provides water for about 118,470 residents living in the Vallejo area. Established in 1851, the Vallejo Water Division collects water from two surface water sources. The Solano Project provides source water from Lake Berryessa, transported to our facilities by the Putah South Canal. The City also receives surface water from the State Water Project, from Lake Oroville, which travels through the Sacramento River to the State’s North Bay Aqueduct pumping facilities.
