The City of Eudora Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water to about 6,449 residents living in Eudora, Douglas County, Kansas. Founded in 1859, the City of Eudora Water System currently obtains its supply from six water wells, groundwater sources that drill into the aquifer underneath the area. These wells are also situated near the water treatment facility and on agricultural land to the north and west of the city. The raw water from these wells is also piped into the water treatment facility, where it is then kept in four towers: the first one is at the water treatment facility, the other three are in Paschal Fish Park, the Intech Business Park, and the area south of K-10 between Eudora Middle School and Eudora High School.
