The Town of Bellingham Department of Public Works Water & Sewer Division provides water for about 15,575 people living in the Bellingham area, Norfolk County, Massachusetts. The Town operates sixteen groundwater wells, eight pumping stations, three storage tanks, roughly one hundred miles of water main, and sixty miles of water service pipes. Twelve wells in the southern section of town are managed by four pumping stations and collect water from the Blackstone River basin's underground aquifer. The water from these wells is treated at the Wrentham Road Filtration Plant. Four wells in the northern section of town, each with its pumping station, collect water from the Charles River basin's underground aquifer. The water from these wells is treated at the Hartford Ave Filtration Plant.
