Dracut has multiple water providers: Dracut Water and Kenwood Water. This page provides information about Dracut Water.

The Dracut Water Supply District provides water for about 25,741 residents living in the Dracut area, Massachusetts. Established in 1905, the Dracut Water Supply District obtains its supply from a combination of groundwater and surface water sources: One well field in Dracut (2 wells) and one well field in Tyngsboro (5 wells) drawing from the Merrimack River watercourse aquifer, and purchase of supplemental water from the City of Lowell Regional Water Utility, which is surface water from the Merrimack River.

Lead levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.
