The Town of Marion Water supplies water to about 6,338 residents living in the Marion area of Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Marion Water Department collects water from gravel-packed wells and small-diameter tubular wellfields. Most of the wellfields, including Perry Hill Station, East & West Wells, Mary's Pond Station, and Wolf Island Well, are located in the Town of Rochester. The Water Department purchases additional water from the Mattapoisett River Valley Water District Public Water Supply, which obtains water from eight groundwater wells in the Mattapoisett River Valley Aquifer. The wells include three Mattapoisett's Station Wells, three Fairhaven's Wolf Island Wells, one Fairhaven's Tinkham Lane Well, and one Marion's Wolf Island Well.
