The Scituate Water Division, a public community water system under the Town Department of Public Works, provides water for about 19,760 residents living in the area of Scituate, Massachusetts. Established in 1636, the Scituate Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of sources: six wells, the Old Oaken Bucket Pond, the Tack Factory Pond/Reservoir system, and the Town of Marshfield (supplies water to Humarock only).
