The City of Chino Water, under the City Department of Utilities, provides water for about 73,683 residents living in the area of Chino, California. Established in 1910, the City of Chino Water currently obtains its supply from a blend of surface and groundwater. Surface water is imported from Northern California by the Metropolitan Water District (MWD) of Southern California via the State Water Project aqueduct. Groundwater supplies are extracted via local wells operated by the City of Chino or by the Chino Basin Desalter Authority (CDA).

WaterZen Rating

Lead levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.

What about City Of Chino Water? How much lead is in your drinking water? And how do those levels compare to other cities in the state? We examined data from hundreds of cities across the nation to understand and grade your water quality.

As you can see, City Of Chino Water received the best-possible grade because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were better than the Public Health Goal and most other water providers we've analyzed.
