The City of San Luis Water Division, under the City Public Works Department, provides water for about 27,800 residents living in the San Luis area, Arizona. Established in 1979, the City of San Luis Utilities Water currently obtains its supply from groundwater pumped from six well sites located at several locations throughout the City, drawing from the San Luis Rey Valley Groundwater Basin.
