EPCOR - North Mohave Valley Water System supplies water to about 5,190 residents in the Bullhead City area of Mohave County, Arizona. North Mohave Valley obtains water from Lake Mohave Basin, which is bounded by the Colorado River on the west and the Black Mountains to the east. Groundwater flows from the alluvial sand, silt, and gravel deposits and is refilled by the Colorado River. The water has a hardness range of 8 to 26 grains per gallon and is disinfected with chlorine to kill harmful micro-organisms.
