The Cross Valley Water District, public community water provides water for about 18,034 residents living in Snohomish, a city in Snohomish County, Washington. Established in 1989, the Cross Valley Water District System currently obtains its supply from several sources: groundwater drawn from ten different wells of the district, and surface water purchased from the City of Everett obtained from Sultan River via Spada Reservoir through the Clearview Water Supply Agency, located approximately 30 miles east of Everett which is treated at the Lake Chaplin Treatment Plant.

Under the authority of the Safe Drinking Water Act, the EPA requires Cross Valley Water District to assess local water quality each year and distribute a Consumer Confidence Water Quality Report.
