The City of Fruitland Water supplies water to about 5,907 residents living in the Fruitland area of Wicomico County, Maryland. Fruitland Water Department collects groundwater from four wells drilled 85 feet deep into the Columbia Aquifer and a new well, approximately 225 feet deep, pumping from the Manokin Aquifer. The City's water is disinfected with chlorine to control microbes and contains fluoride additives that promote strong teeth.
