The Greater Johnstown Water Authority (GJWA) - Riverside (Main) provides water for about 49,500 residents living in the area of Riverside, Pennsylvania. Established in 1964, the Greater Johnstown Water Authority - Riverside is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of surface water sources: the North Fork and Dalton Reservoirs in Conemaugh Township. Also, GJWA may use the Quemahoning Reservoir in Somerset County, for supplemental purposes whenever the demand arises.
