The City of Gridley Water, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 7,246 residents living in Gridley in Butte County, California. Founded in 1905, the City of Gridley Water System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources that drill into the aquifer underneath the area. The system has three active wells, namely: Eagle Meadows Well, Parkside Well, and Spruce Well; Raw Well Water of Liberty Well and Little Avenue Well; and two standby wells, Wilson Street Well and Fairview Well.
