The Hi-Desert Water District (HDWD) provides water for about 23,760 residents living in the Yucca Valley area, California. Established in 1962, the Hi-Desert Water District obtains its supply from a groundwater source, two basins: the Warren Basin located in the heart of Yucca Valley running west to east and the Ames Basin located in the northern part of the District.
