The Joshua Basin Water District, a Community-Owned Water District, supplies water to about 9,665 residents living in the Joshua Tree area, San Bernardino County, California. Founded in 1963, the Water Department collects water from district wells that tap two underground aquifers - Joshua Tree Groundwater Basin and Copper Mountain Groundwater Basin.
