Dracut has multiple water providers: Dracut Water and Kenwood Water. This page provides information about Kenwood Water.

Kenwood Water District is a municipal water supply that is a distribution system only. The water system does not have its own water source nor does it treat the water; instead, it distributes water to about 9,430 residents living in Dracut, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Founded in 1701, the Merrimac River, flows through eastern Dracut, which provides surface water for the Lowell and Methuem Water Departments and then it's received by the Kenwood Water District System. Additionally, this water is sourced from New Hampshire's White Mountains. The eastern and northern parts of the Kenwood Water District receive water from the Methuem Water Departments, while the southern and western parts receive water from the Lowell System.
