Lake Arrowhead Community Services District (LACSD), a public community water system under the Water Connections Department, provides water to about 7,008 residents living in Lake Arrowhead, in the San Bernardino Mountains of San Bernardino County, California. Founded in 1978, Lake Arrowhead Community Services District System currently obtains its supply from mixed sources: the main source is Lake Arrowhead through two surface water treatment plants. In addition to water acquired from the Crestline-Lake Arrowhead Water Agency (CLAWA), a minor amount of water is also sourced from five groundwater wells. CLAWA treats the Silverwood Lake water before it is delivered to LACSD and combined with other water sources.
