The Town of Lancaster Water supplies water to about 6,000 residents living in the Lancaster area of Worcester County. Lancaster Water Department collects water from two groundwater wells on Bolton Station Road, and unused water is stored in two storage tanks off George Hill
Road. The water is disinfected with chlorine to prevent microbial contamination.
