The Marblehead Water and Sewer, a public community water system under the Town Board of Water & Sewer Commissioners, provides water for about 19,210 residents living in the area of Marblehead, Massachusetts. Established in 1984, the Marblehead Water and Sewer System is currently obtaining its supply via purchase directly from the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA). MWRA water comes from surface water sources: Quabbin and Wachusett Reservoirs. Water from Ware River can also add to the supply when the demand arises.
