The Marina Coast Water District provides water for about 35,361 residents living in the Marina area, California. Established in 1960, the Marina Coast Water District collects supply from a groundwater source, eight wells located in Central Marina (three wells) and in Ord Community (five wells) that draw water from the Salinas Valley Groundwater Basin.
