The Town of Marshfield Water, under the Town Department of Public Works, provides water for about 34,000 residents living in the area of Marshfield, Massachusetts. Established in 1640, the Town of Marshfield Water Department currently obtains its supply from six aquifers and sixteen active gravel-packed wells drawing from the Furnace Brook Aquifer and Little’s Creek Aquifer.
