The Monroeville Municipal Authority (MMA), a municipal water service operator, provides water for about 48,500 residents living in the area of Monroeville, Pennsylvania. Established in 1948, the Monroeville Municipal Authority is currently obtaining its supply via purchase of finished drinking water from the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County (MAWC), which uses surface water drawn from the Beaver Run Reservoir and Youghiogheny River.
