The Myerstown Water Authority provides water for about 9,500 residents living in the Myerstown area in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1948, Myerstown Water Authority collects water from three deep wells, each producing 400 gallons per minute and pumping into the treatment facility. The water is treated with small quantities of chemicals to stabilize the pH and filtered into the storage tanks ready for distribution.
