Founded in 1728, the Borough of New Holland Water System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily five wells that drill into the aquifer underneath the area. The water system has two elevated water storage tanks. Wells #1 and #2 are at North Hoover Avenue; Well #3 is at Custer Avenue; Well #4 is at Jackson Street; and at E. Conestoga Street, Well #5, can be located.
