The North Adams Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Services - Water and Sewer, provides water for about 13,000 residents living in the area of North Adams, a city in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Established in 1878, the North Adams Water System currently obtains its supply from a blend of sources, both surface water, and groundwater. Surface water is sourced from the Mount Williams, Broad Brook Intake, and Notch Reservoirs while groundwater is from the Greylock well that pumps water from the Hoosic River Aquifer underneath the city area.
