Borough of Oxford Water, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 5,280 residents living in Oxford, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1833, the Borough of Oxford Water System currently obtains its supply from various sources: groundwater sources, primarily five wells that drill into the aquifer underneath the area, and purchased surface water from Chester Water Authority drawn from Octoraro Reservoir and the Susquehanna River.
