The Pennsylvania American Water - White Deer (PAWC) provides water for about 30,209 residents living in the White Deer Township area, Pennsylvania. Established in 1886, the Pennsylvania American Water - White Deer currently obtains its supply from surface water sources via two filtration plants: the White Deer Creek Filtration Plant utilizes water from the White Deer Creek and the Spruce Run Reservoir while the Milton Filter Plant utilizes water from the Susquehanna River.
