Pajaro Sunny Mesa Community Services District is a public agency governed by a five-member Board of Directors created by the Monterey County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) to provide public potable water services in the Elkhorn and Prunedale areas, including to about 6,500 residents living in Pajaro, Monterey County, California. Founded in 1986, Pajaro Sunny Mesa Community Services District System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily Wells #1 and #2 located in North Monterey County that drill into the aquifer underneath the area.
