The City of Parsons Water supplies water to about 9,477 residents of Labette County in the Parsons area of Kansas. The Water Department sources water from Lake Parsons into Labette Creek and then to the water treatment plant that uses activated carbon to control taste and odor, and fluoridation to improve dental health. The City also draws about two million gallons per day from the Neosho River.
